Information we collect
Applications include contact information, an 18+ attestation, city or region, goals, working preferences, and written responses. If approved, members create a Supabase-authenticated account and may add profile details, pursuits, connection preferences, Circles, commitments, reactions, connections, and direct messages.
Not Someday asks for city/region-level location only, not precise coordinates. Some matching inputs remain private and are not shown in the member directory. There is no public discipline score, ranking, follower count, or sale of member data.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to review applications, establish membership, provide discovery and connection features, administer Circles and commitments, deliver private messaging, and protect the community. Approved members see only the directory, Circle, connection, and message information allowed by product privacy controls. Blocks are symmetric and private.
Reports are private. A reported member cannot inspect a report, and administrators receive only the specific message evidence linked to a message report—not general access to direct conversations. Administrators may review applications, reports, and operational account status as described in the product.
Providers and security
Supabase provides authentication and database infrastructure. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on abuse-sensitive public forms. Deployment infrastructure and configured email delivery providers process data as needed to operate the service. Messages are access-controlled but are not described as end-to-end encrypted.
Your choices
Members can pause discovery, control local visibility and pursuit visibility, manage their blocks, download a JSON account export, and close member access. Your export includes account data currently available to you. Some information may be excluded where necessary to preserve active safety or privacy boundaries. In particular, an active block keeps the affected conversation and message content out of both members' self-service exports without revealing who blocked whom or other block metadata.
Self-service export and closure are available only while an account is active and approved. If an account is suspended, revoked, or otherwise restricted, its owner can contact support@joinnotsomeday.com for an identity-verified access, export, or closure request. Closure immediately removes product access and live relationships. Historical messages, commitments, reports, moderation, and audit records may remain while a final retention and anonymization policy is approved. Permanent deletion is not automated, and no specific retention period is promised in this launch draft.
